Crafts U Print have recently added a new concept to their site.
They are looking for cardmakers to upload their card designs onto the CUP gallery, and offer a commision as incentive.
To earn money you have to purchase and make your creations from craft and cardmaking sheets purchased from the site. Most sheets are 80p, and single backing papers are 20p per download and with over 30,000 sheets to chose for your sure to find something you love.
Commision is paid on each sale of the sheet or kit you have used it to make your card. The amount of commision you get per sale increases the more cards you have on the site.
Click on Crafts U Print for more details.

I made it to the final!
Great news, I made it to the Stuff to Scrap Designer Darling finals!
12 of us got through. What a difficult decision the judges must have had, they originally planned on 10 places. The final task lasts for 2 weeks and in that time we have to design a full sized kit + full alpha.set.
So, I'll have to up my game and design a wonderful kit for you all to snag! Thank you for your support over these past few weeks.

My entry in the Designer Darling Comp's 4th Challenge + a CU freebie
Hi Everyone,
This week in the Stuff to Scrap Designer Darling competition we were given the task of picking 3 objects, photograph or scan them and extracting them to quality control standards. Of course, the objects must meet with copyright legistation.
After quite a few false starts, and much pulling of hair, I eventually came across a bundle of handmade and designed applique tableware, placemats.
I was given them by my late Grandmother, many years ago. An elderly family friend had gifted them to her back in the early 60's. She had lovingly hand stitched ever one.
As before, if you would like to download these CU applique flowers you will have to visit Stuff to Scrap forum (you will be asked to enroll as a forum member if you are not one already, it's free.)
If you would like to support me you can vote for my entry at the forum from 7 am Friday 5th (GMT) till 7am on Sunday 7th Feb.
Hope you enjoy
Hugs alison :)

My Free Mini Kit for Challenge 3,
I have finally finished my Mini Scrap Kit entry for challenge 3 of Stuff to Scrap Designer Darlings competition.
This week, we were given the photos of Deanna's beautiful and hand sewn quilt to use as inspiration for our task. And that was it.
We could go anyway with it, use and any colour palette, the only criteria was to give an explaination as to why we were inspired in that way.
Try as I might, I just couldn't get passed sewing and quilting as a theme. And the colour palette was so beautiful I stuck with that.
At Christmas, I saw an advert in a craft magazine for NitWits scrapbooking kits and just loved their puffy quilted stitched effects.
I wanted to do something like that.
It's taken me a while, I've started to work out the techniques involved. I discovered a Puffy felt action for the PS7 at Atomic Cupcake and have had so much fun Puffy felting my way through lots of my digital images.
Atomic Cupcake offers a free action every month. This month's is an Embroidery action.
So here is my entry, it can be downloaded as before at STS forum My kit is at the bottom of the link.
I hope you enjoy X

News update and blog of note
I've checked the Stuff to scrap announcements thread and I've made it through to the next round of the challenge. I'm all excited to see what the next challenge will be!
I was doing a bit of blog hopping this afternoon and came across this lovely little blog called Aly's Sunday Challenge.
It's such a cute site. Aly is an 11 year old digi stamper, and with the help of her Mum, runs a challenge every 2 weeks.
I am a great believer in supporting up and coming talent, so I'm off to send an email offering my services as a sponsor.

Another couple of digital freebies for you. A Quick page and a CU digi Stamp
Well ,today's the day I find out if I've made the grade and move on to the next round of the Designer Darlings Competition at Stuff to Scrap. Thank you to everyone who downloaded the kit and voted for me. I really appeciate your support :)
I won't get the results till later, so I thought I would post a couple of freebies, instead of bittng my nails! lol
The first is another quick page I made using stuff from Little Miss Attitude Mini Kit and some things from my digi stash which I'll share with you tomorrow!
The second is the little rag doll line drawing that I designed for the kit.
This little digi stamp comes in .png format at 300dpi. CU okay.
I was playing around with an open source, vector graphics, program called Inkscape the other day, to improve the quality of my digital stamp images. It's a wonderful program, with lots of neat filters etc, but unfortunately it doesn't recognise my little graphics pen for pencil drawing. But I have discovered that you can import you artwork and it will clean up the lines!
The little rag doll was put through this filter, if you download and have a look, let my know if it passes 'digi stamp quality control' could you? I would be so grateful.

Designer Darling Challenge 2 and 3 digital Scrapbooking freebies for you
I have just completed and uploaded my Mini Scrap Kit for round 2 of the Stuff to Scrap Designer Darling Competion.
This time we were given a colour palette. Once again, we chose our own theme.
The only CU product we could use in our design were a selection kindly donated to us by Deanna of Flower Scraps.
CU styles, actions, paper overlays and textures were out too.
Basically we were to design our kits from scratch.
Here is my entry

A digital scrapbooking mini kit freebie for you
Just finished my Kit for the Stuff to Scrap, Designer Darling contest.
It's been a hectic few days as I worked to meet the deadline.
I got the information on Challenge 1 at 7.30 pm GMT on Tuesday. With a deadline of 7am Friday, I'm suffering a bit from bed-separation anxiety! That and a caffeine overload. lol.
You were given a colour pallette for the challenge and allowed you to choose your own theme and name. No restriction on the use of CU items. Nicole from Digi-Designs by Nicole (The STS owner) even donated one of her wonderful CU products to all the entrants.
The competition will be judged on a points system.
Points will be awarded for various categories, ie quality of digital files, uniqueness of papers and elements, usablity etc.
There will also be public voting in place, so all visitors and STS members can vote for the kits they like. This will also go a little towards the entrants points. As will the number of kits downloaded.
Let's get on to the freebie.
The theme of love inspired me, must be the time of year. lol A little bit valentine inspiration, but with a lot more uses. The colour pallette has an autumn, winter feel to me.
You can download the kit at STS forum thread here.(STS members direct link) You will have to scroll down till you come to my entry.
The download and a gallery link will be under my kit preview. The gallery link takes you to the voting area. (nudge, nudge, wink, wink!!! LOL, oh what a shameful person I've become.)
If you aren't a member of Stuff to Scrap yet, you will have to use this link to the main forum page and register to get access.
You can only vote today 15th and tomorrow 16th until midnight MST (which is Sunday 17th at 7am GMT, for anyone over my side of the pond)
So here it is.
Well I think I've more that adequately plugged myself, but you will be able to view all the entries in the contest. There are so many talented people taking part. And while you're at it, you could snag your fill of everyones' fabulous kits.
Have fun

Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope you all had a great time over the feastive season.
We got the white Christmas we always dreamt of. In fact we are still knee-deep in the stuff.
I am fed up having to dig the car out of it every time I go visiting. But hey, it keeps me fit!
I've posted a couple of new printables on Crafts U print (more to come in the next few days).

Cool competition at Crafts u print
I just had to let you know about the Crafty Bob treasure hunt which is being held at Craftsuprint.com
To save time I've copied and pasted the site blurb about competion.
Crafty Bob is our new crafty character, and what a crafty chap he is!
The rules are simple.
Crafty Bob likes to play 'Hide-n-Seek', just find the waving Crafty Bob on the Craftsuprint website and you will win 'The Bobpot'.
When you have found 'Wavy Bob' just click on him and fill in your details to claim your CASH PRIZE.
The first person to click on the ‘I FOUND BOB’ button will win the Bobpot Total.
You must be willing to accept a paypal payment as this is how your winnings will be paid.
There are a few 'Red Herrings', in other words 'Decoys' out there! - so be warned. Also there may be clues left in the forum, so keep an eye out for Crafty Bob in there!
Remember you are looking for a Crafty Bob that is waving, exactly the same as the sample shown below.
Once Crafty Bob is found, the winner will be displayed on the homepage and then verified. Crafty Bob will then go and hide and the fun will start again!
The first Bobpot has just been won at £103, once verified the comp will start again.
As a designer, I am not allowed to take part so I thought I would let all of you know.
Beware though, it is a great big site!
Best of luck
Alison
Merry Christmas, a big thanks and some digital scrapbooking freebies for you.
With Christmas almost upon us, I thought I would post some little gifts to thank you for following my blog.
I will be busy in the run up to Christmas day , so I will probably not get much of a chance to be online.
I have lots of plans for after the New Year, and my first freebie gives a small taster of what I'm going to be up to.
It is a little add on to the kit I am working on. Although it is for scrapbooking, I am sure it could be utilised by all you card makers in some way. I hope you like it.
The DOWNLOAD link for kit
I will have more digital scrapbooking freebies on offer in mid January as part of Stuff to Scraps designer challenge and of course there is the STS blog train on the 1st of February.

There are so many wonderful artists who will offer a freebie digital image to download each month and only to the exclusive 50 crafters who become members.
The membership fees are £2 per month and if you recruit a member when you join your first month's fees are free.
